In a word, Captivating. In 25 words… The richness and delicate harmony of Christina and Alex’s voices is something rare and beautiful and the love and tenderness in their relationship is infectious.

This wonderful multi-instrumental duo from Norwich create a peaceful and tender space, which they invite you step into. The warmness and the calmness of their stage presence is nothing short of captivating. Their adorable little glances across the stage to each other, and the total synergy between the pair, both in their playing, their syncopation and their obvious family glow that only comes from a contentment with life as it and not how it could be…

They approach each song the way one would approach a deer in the woodland, quietly, calmly and being careful not to startle it.

I wonder if the intimacy of the venue amplified this sense of becoming part of their tranquil word, and I hope they can achieve the same kind of connection on a larger stage and with a larger Audience.

Stories at the heart.

At the heart of this engaging session, consisting of two 45 minutes sets, were beautiful stories and origin notes for many of the beautiful songs they shared with us, seemly switching instruments between almost every song, and adding grace, humour and context to their inspiration for much of the music they shared.

Album Launch 10th April,

I cannot wait to hear the the new album which is to be launched in April…. A collection of songs and tunes inspired by home, family, travel and the environment,  and three years in the making, they will launch their New Album on the 10th April at Norwich Arts Centre.
