So, another glorious sunny week, and we are taking a break from the podcast this week.

But the playlist soldiers on… There is so much good music to share this week so….

Let’s start with the amazing David Perry, is such a wonderful, tender and open songwriter. This is a great gateway to his music, and it opens the list perfectly this week.

Liverpool’s own Katie Nicholas has a perfect voice with echoes of the Midwest, channelling Joni and Baez with a crisp new sound. I love this so much.

Now… Stop…

You must find a peaceful spot and let the outstanding little.busy take you to an ethereal place of beauty. This is an outstanding blissed out album with a deep heart and sharp eye.

Heddwen crossed my desk this week and I am instantly in love… This album is a few years old now, but I hope you will agree it is timeless.

I must mention Wave Of The Flood again this week too, Azalea is out now and I am totally hooked on this gorgeous piece of inspiring, soaring, summer longing.

Next up is the brilliant Caitlin Gilligan, I have been looking for a slot for he 2024 album thin places for a while and it finally gets a spot on the list. Her voice takes me to a quiet mountain where the air is clean and view is long, I hope you love this as much as I do.

My One to Watch this week is the breathtaking and jaunty sound of Clementine Lovell, I am so taken by the whimsical beauty of this track, and its typewriter beat….

Amy Goddard delivers a sensational collaboration with Reg Meuross too this week which is such a great sounding single release, I just hope there is more to come from this great sounding duo. A quick mention for the wonderful Erin Wharton too, who first featured on our list in week 8 – I love this EP and now the sun is fully beating down this is worth a revisit. Have a great week and don’t forget the Podcast returns next week with @adifferentthread !
